Loving Hands Preschool

I can't believe March is already upon us.  It seems like the months are flying by much too quickly.  February was a flash and I am sure the summer will be here in the blink of an eye.  I would like to thank the room moms for wonderful Valentine's party...it was a fun day for everyone!  Being that this was the last party of the year, I want to thank all parents for your participation and efforts.

This month our color is green, the shape is diamond and our number is 8.  We will be learning the letter and letter sounds of Tt, Uu and Vv.  Our themes will consist of Dr. Suess, wind & kites, St. Patrick's Day and Easter!

Lyons Photography will be here on Wednesday, March 10 to take spring pictures of your child with live bunnies!  As always, the pictures are adorable adn a lot of fun for the children but there is no obligation to purchase.

Our field trip this month will be to the Green Library on Massillon Road Friday, March 12.  Please meet us at the library at 10:00 a.m.  This is when the library opens.

Color day will be on Wednesday March 17 and the color of course is green!

I've been working on finishing all the children's assessments and I am delighted with all of their progress!  Conferences will be during class time on Wednesday, March 24 and Friday, March 26. There will be a sign up sheet hanging outside the classroom door for you to pick a convenient time.  If you are unable to come in to sign up please call me at school to discuss options.  During conferences we will have a substitute in the classroom to work with Miss Robin.

There will be no school Monday March 29-Monday April 5.  This is our spring break.  Hopefully the weather will be more like spring by then!

It is now time to register for the 2010-2011 preschool year!  If you have a child that will be coming to Loving Hands Preschool next year or know someone who may be interested, please ask me for a registration packet and return it soon!
