Loving Hands Preschool

It is hard to believe we are already talking about spring.  The school year is really moving along!  What a fun February we had with all of our parties.  A big thank you to all the Moms and Dads who helped.  We greatly appreciate your support of our school.

We have a field trip planned for Friday, March 12 to the Green Library.  This trip begins at 10:00 when the library opens.  Please meet us there or let us know if your child needs a ride.

We are working on our assessments of the children and conferences will be held on Wednesday March 24 and Friday March 26.  There will be a sign up sheet posted in the hallway for you to sign a preferred time for your conference.  This will be a time for us to touch base on your child's progress, and to talk about any questions or concerns you may have.  They will be held during preschool hours, and are only for adults.  If you are unable to attend on that day please let us know and we will schedule a time that is more convenient.  If all else fails, we can have a phone conference.  The children still have class on those days.

Just a reminder, spring break begins on March 29.  Preschool will resume on Wednesday, April 7.  Let's all hope for some nice warm weather, so we can enjoy some outdoor quality time with our kids.

This month we will be talking about Dr. Suess, wind and kites, and springtime fun.  We are working hard on our writing skills, numbers and learning as many beginning sounds as we can.  We love learning our sight words and are very good at using them in sentences.  Our color day this month is Wednesday March 17 and of course the color is green.
